I am a solo traveller and I made a reservation for dinner New Year Day at Chez Georges. I was very impressed by food and service. Service was prompt and helpful as my French is not extensive. I had the steak with Bearnaise sauce which was cooked perfectly and a side of very creamy mash potatoes, both excellent. Dessert was a layered puff pastry with creme and a side of ice cream. Perfect amount of food for one. The room has an old world white table cloth feel and is very comfortable. Highly recommend visiting.

Excellent! Our dinner of cream of asparagus soup, duck breast & roasted potatoes, leg of lamb with fresh vegetables then caramel flan & the chocolate dessert was fabulous! Very generous portions of food. Very good efficient service. We highly recommend this French restaurant!

During a business trip, we had the opportunity to visit this restaurant. Friendly, elegant waiters, pleasant service and fantastic cuisine. Special thanks for the incredibly tasty fish. But, unfortunately, the hostess-lady spoils the impression, showing with her whole appearance that she is not happy with us.

Very good food and elegant ambience! The desert (mille feuille) was fantastic! The only slight negative was that the beam with chorizo sauce was too salty (even for chorizo). Otherwise really good food and service, I would give 4.5 stars.

We arrived 15 minutes before the restaurant was scheduled to close, but they very graciously seated us at a table set with lovely plates painted with Paris scenes. While we were initially surprised by what seemed to be high prices, that surprise was quickly offset by the large portions of delicious food. My husband and I shared the beef tenderloin, french fries, and creme caramel, while our friends had the beef tenderloin, mushroom nut soup, and floating island. Everything was perfectly prepared and served quickly by the friendly staff. I cannot recommend Chez Georges highly enough!

The food was very good. We had starters (salad, meat and desserts) however the service was very disappointing. We are used to come here quite often but the last time the service was not what you expect for such place : standing next to you right after seating till ready to order, taking order while stating that we were not ready yet, pouring wine only to guys and not to women, removing plates while we were not done, removing plates while they were not empty without asking, dropping plates or bills while being on the phone and not even watching customers….. very disappointing service. Never again

mediocre experience the place has a nice atmosphere, the waiters are kind, and the overall quality of the dishes is above average (ex: snails, duck). However, the kitchen overcooked our entrecote but nothing was done to remediate. I expect more, either a discount or a cuddle (discount or something on the house). This is the responsibility of the head waitress. A desert or 10€ won't change my life. Bad management will instead impact the success of the restaurant.
